On Saturday, April 29th at 10:30am, join Chris Vedral for a “Medicare Educational Seminar.” Learn how Medicare works. Registration required.
Keeping in the information mode, the library is also offering a workshop on “What You Need to Know about Wills & Estate Planning” on Monday, May 1st, at 6:00pm. Howard Solomon conducts this workshop, providing a solid background on this intricate subject. This PA Forward program fulfills a Financial Literacy. Registration required.
In a riveting one-man show, actor Neill Hartley presents “Over There: Songs and Letters of World War I” on Saturday, May 13th, at 1:00pm. With memorable songs and heartfelt letters, Mr. Hartley conveys the remarkable stories of The Great War by the men and women who lived it. Registration required.
Spend an evening with the author Christopher Paolini on Wednesday, May 17th, at 6:00pm. Best known for his teen fantasy novel, Eragon, written when he was a teen, Mr. Paolini presents his latest adult novel, Fractal Noise. This is a free event, but you must reserve your seat with the Newtown Bookshop.
For children: Bring a book to read and have tail-wagging good time with the library’s “Read to the Dogs” program on Saturday, May 6th, at 11:00am. On Saturday, May 20th, at 10:30am, join us for “Story Explorers” and explore Where the Wild Things Are with games and crafts. All ages.
