Children and teens who have had a loved one die are at higher risk for dropping out of school, teen pregnancy, substance misuse, depression, and anxiety. Grieving children who have not been given the opportunity to receive support or tools to process their loss are often diagnosed with behavioral or attention related concerns.
Adults without support are also at risk for increased rates of mental health challenges, substance abuse, work disruption, financial insecurity, and suicide. At Hands Holding Hearts our mission is to guide and comfort grieving families, educate about loss, and provide a support network for those we serve.
We are the sole grief-dedicated program in Bucks County serving children, teens, and adults. We offer individual, family, and group support as well as workshops, school programs, and a summer bereavement camp each summer.
If you or someone you know has experienced a loss and is looking for support, we are here to help. contact@handsholdinghearts.org or 445-444-5374
