The Margaret Gale Thornton Chapter, NSDAR participated again in the Bensalem High School MC JROTC Annual Awards Night, which was held on May 11th. After the Changing of the Command Ceremony, Chapter Member, Janice Cope, LTC, USAF, Retired, was one of many presenters of awards for the evening.
She presented the DAR JROTC Bronze Medal and Certificate to Cadet Maria Davis. Cadet Davis is a Senior. This is her first year in MCJROTC.
Col. John Church, USMCR, Head of the Leadership Studies Department and Senior Marine Instructor, described Cadet Davis. “She has been a section (or class) leader all year and has brought a mature and stable influence into promptly and professionally carrying out her duties.
They wish Cadet Davis the best in her future endeavors.
