Fall is great time to pave or seal coat your driveway in preparation for the harsh winter weather that lies ahead. Seal coating and crack filling will reduce water seepage from ice and snow and prevent damage from the freeze-thaw cycles that occur over the winter months.
It is recommended that you seal coat new asphalt driveways 12 months after the blacktop is installed. After that, a quality seal coating to keep up with maintenance should be done every 2-3 years depending on the age and condition of the driveway.
