Falls Supervisors recognize recent police promotions

During Monday’s Falls Township Supervisors meeting, the board recognized 7 police officers who were recently promoted.

Meet the officers:

  • David Gold was hired by Falls Township as a police officer in February 2008. He is a member of the SWAT Team, a firearms instructor, a defensive tactics Instructor, an EMT, and an accident reconstructionist. He was promoted to Detective on July 27th.
  • Matthew Killeen, who previously worked as a police officer for Prince George County, Maryland, was hired as a Falls Township police officer in May 2009. He is a Federal Motor Carrier Inspector, a member of the MIRT Team, and a firefighter with the Fairless Hills Fire Department for more than 15 years. He was promoted to Corporal September 22nd, 2020, and promoted to Sergeant on July 27th.
  • Ryan Murphy, who previously worked as a police officer for the Villanova University Police Department, was hired as a Falls Township police officer in May 2017. He is a Field Training Officer and an EMT. He was promoted to Corporal on July 27th.
  • Nicholas Phillippe was hired as a Falls Township police officer in September 2013. He is an accident reconstructionist, a Field Training Officer, and the police department’s JNET/CLEAN Compliance Officer. He was promoted to Corporal on July 27th.
  • Alexander Sansone was previously a police officer with North Wales Borough, Montgomery County. He was hired as a Falls Township police officer in August 2016. He is an EMT and an accident reconstructionist. He was promoted to Corporal on July 27th.
  • Stephen Reeves, who previously worked for the Bristol Borough Police Department, was hired as a Falls Township police officer in December 2002. He is an EMT, a field training officer, assigned to the ICAC Task Force, and the President of the Bristol Borough Fire Association, as well as a volunteer firefighter for more than 20 years. He was promoted to Detective on June 22nd, 2009, and promoted to Sergeant on July 27th.
  • James Szamboti joined the Falls Township Police Department in July 2014. He is a field training officer, a bicycle officer, and a DARE officer. He was promoted to Corporal on July 27th.
