Friends of Doylestown Library hosting fall programs

Book Sale is back

The Friends of the Doylestown Library is hosting three programs this fall, offering fun for all ages.

Eric Mintel Investigates: Paranormal Projection Room – Thrilling stories of local haunts will keep you on the edge of your seat October 30th at 7:00pm, when Eric Mintel Investigates returns to the Doylestown Library, 150 S. Pine Street.

In an all new show this year, lead investigator Eric Mintel and spirit medium Dominic Sattele will premiere brand new videos including What Waits at the Waterwheel Tavern?, The Histories and Mysteries of McCoole’s Red Lion Inn: The Followup! and Haunted Rails: The New Hope RR Mystery! “In our research we have discovered that some people are ‘picked’ to see these paranormal energies and events,” said Mintel. “Perhaps their antennae are more attuned to the supernatural.” The program is a Friends fundraising, and the cost is $10 per person (cash or check only), attendees are required to pre-register by sending an e-mail to: friendsofdoylestownlibrary@gmail.com.

Chair Yoga Extended – The library’s popular Chair Yoga program is being extended, with support from the Friends. Dragonfly Yoga, of Doylestown, will conduct free chair yoga classes in the Pearl Buck Room every Friday, from 9:30-10:30am, except October 13th, October 20th, November 3rd and November 24th.

Fall Book Sale, October 14th-17th and October 19th-21st – All genres of gently-used books, including newer fiction, non-fiction, and children’s books, in hardback and paperback, will be offered at the Friends Fall Book Sale, October14th-17th and October 19th-21st. Check friendsofdtownlibrary.org/book-sale for sale times. “Our popular fall book sale is our biggest fundraiser, which allows us to offer many of our other programs throughout the year,” said Friends President Steve Schreiner. “We’re grateful to the Doylestown Library for hosting the sale and many of our other events. It’s a great partnership.”
