Nazareth Academy High School, the only private, Catholic high school for young women in Philadelphia, is hosting an Open House on Saturday, October 14th from 9:00am to noon. Our Open House gives prospective students and parents the opportunity to learn what Nazareth has to offer in academics, athletics, performing arts, extracurricular activities, community service, sisterhood, traditions, and more!
The Entrance & Scholarship Exam for the Class of 2028 is scheduled for Saturday, October 21st and Saturday, November 4th for students. This exam is a critical tool in the admissions process, and only students who take the Entrance & Scholarship Exam at Nazareth are eligible for academic scholarship consideration.
With a student to faculty ratio of 9:1 and an average class size of 15 students, Nazareth is dedicated to an individualized educational approach. With a state-of-the-art Innovation Center and offering more than 40 clubs, 12 athletic teams, and 10 performing arts groups, Nazareth empowers students to develop their interests and become lifelong learners in a global society.
Nazareth Academy follows College Prep Scheduling, a modified block scheduling model that mirrors to a great extent the academic year at a college. The longer class time allows for differentiation, and creates more laboratory work in science classes, more creative production in art classes, more debate in social studies classes, and more writing and discussion in English classes.
The Class of 2023 earned over $38 million in college scholarships and grants. College Prep Scheduling prepares students for readiness and success at the college level.
