Spotlight – St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church

The “Very Best Christmas Bazaar Ever,” hosted by St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church’s Social Concerns Committee, is coming on December 9th, from 10:00am to 3:00pm, in the Parish Center behind the church at 752 Big Oak Road, Morrisville.

This annual charitable event will host over 40 crafters showcasing crocheted, knit, and handsewn items, wood crafts, jewelry, home décor, candles, food gifts and more! Boy Scout Troop 46, 31 and other returning favorites will be there as well as non-profits selling Christmas greens and wreaths, ornaments, and crafts from El Salvador. As always, admission is free!

The Interfaith Food Alliance (IFA) in Morrisville will have a raffle at the event with luxury gift baskets just in time for gift -giving! The IFA comprises 12 faith-based communities joining together to fight hunger in the Morrisville School District by educating the community, advocating for those in need, and feeding hungry children and their families.

Proceeds from this raffle will help stock their food pantry. The Interfaith Food Alliance will hold a 50/50 and sell baked goods, snacks and food to help supplement their initiatives in supporting homeless families.

Santa will be there too, so bring the kids! Food and lunch items will be available at the bazaar for purchase and raffle tickets to win our crafters’ items will be on sale.

Come do some shopping! Get into that Christmas spirit and support your community in the process!

Proceeds will benefit the St. John Social Concerns Committee, which provides meals for the homeless and supports local agencies such as The Association for the Homeless and Those in Need and Habitat for Humanity. For additional information e-mail socialconcerns@stjohnpa.org.
