Great things in 2023 and 2024 at the Free Library of Northampton Township!

The end of 2023 goes out with a bang with events for adults and kids!

Come with a puzzle in hand for the library’s Puzzle Swap Drop-In on Saturday, December 9th, 10:00am to 2:00pm.  Swap out as many puzzles as you bring. Puzzles available for all ages, all sizes, and piece count. 

For whole family and all ages: Join us for Sing, Dance and Read on Saturday, December 16th at 10:30am. Then, at 2:00pm, engage your imagination to create for LEGO Master Builders.

On Tuesday, December 26th from 4:30 to 5:30pm, shout BINGO at the library’s Bingo for Books Pajama Party. Attention! BLUEY is visiting the library on Wednesday, December 27th from 10:30am to 12:30pm. Meet Bluey, take pictures, and read some stories!

Ring out 2023 and ring in 2024 with a Noon Year’s Eve Countdown Party on Saturday, December 30th from 11:30am to 12:15pm. The beginning of 2024 begins with a bang for adults!

Two computer classes are offered at the library through Northampton Township Parks & Recreation. Both are courtesy of a grant from WIN Waste. The first class is Advanced Microsoft Word which runs for four weeks every Tuesday, January 9th through January 30th, 6:00-7:45pm. The second class is Introduction to Microsoft Excel which runs for six weeks every Thursday, January 11th through February 15th, 6:00-7:45pm. Space is limited. Register at www.northamptonrec.com. In partnership with the Y.W.C.A., the library is running a Career Development Series.

On Wednesday, January 10th, the workshop focuses upon Job Search & Resume Writing. On Wednesday, January 17th, the workshop explores Cover Letters and Interviewing. Both classes are from 1:00 to 3:00pm.

No registration is necessary.
