A message from Jennifer V. Herring, Chairman, Doylestown Township Board of Supervisors

On behalf of the Doylestown Township Board of Supervisors I wish all our residents in Doylestown Township and our neighboring communities all the best in 2024.

It is with great honor that I write to you as the Chairman of the Doylestown Township Board of Supervisors, having recently been sworn in for my second term and elected by my peers to serve as Chairman.

Exciting developments are underway, including the groundbreaking ceremony held on December 19th, 2023, for the Community Recreation Center and improvements in Central Park.

Anticipated to be completed in 12-14 months, this project will provide our community with a much-needed indoor facility featuring a full-size gym, multi-purpose room, indoor/outdoor patio space, and kitchen.

Park enhancements will include two basketball courts, four tennis courts, two bocce courts, six pickleball courts, and additional parking on the backside of the park along New Britain Road. Supporting this initiative, we have secured $1.7 million in grants from state agencies and initiated a Capital Campaign for further fundraising.

We invite you to consider leaving your legacy by making a donation at www.doylestownpa.org. A heartfelt thank you goes out to our dedicated volunteers who contribute to our boards and committees.

We couldn’t do what we do without them. For a schedule of upcoming meetings, please visit our website.

Save the dates for the Community Yard Sale on May 4th (rain date May 5th) and Touch-A-Truck on May 18th. Watch for details on the Thompson Performing Arts Series at the C & N Amphitheater, featuring concerts from June to August 2024.

Visit doylestownpa.org for concert specifics at Parks & Recreation. Stay updated weekly on Township happenings by signing up for E-Friday News, delivered to your inbox every Friday at 4:00pm. Access the sign-up button on the top of the Township’s website.

A special thank you goes out to my fellow elected officials in the Central Bucks community for their commitment to community service. To our residents and everyone embracing the spirit of community, your collective efforts make Doylestown Township a remarkable place to live, work, and play.
