Spotlight: Youth Orchestra of Bucks County

Do you have a young musician in grades 3 – 12 who loves to play and is looking for a great musical experience? Come see all that the Youth Orchestra of Bucks County has to offer!

The YOBC season includes weekly Sunday afternoon rehearsals in Newtown, as well as two annual concerts.

Based on level of mastery, students are placed in one of YOBC’s seven ensembles, which includes two full orchestras, two concert bands, and three string orchestras.

With these progressive ensembles there is a place for younger musicians who are new to ensemble playing, developing students who are refining their skills, and advanced players ready for a challenging and rewarding experience.

YOBC also offers opportunities for student leadership, chamber ensembles, and professionally run masterclasses with Philadelphia Orchestra musicians.

Advanced YOBC musicians and their families can join our biennial international performance tours. Check out our free Preview Events! Register at yobc.org.
