Vaccines have been a cornerstone of public health for over a century. They have saved millions of lives over that time and helped eradicate deadly diseases like smallpox and polio.
Despite their remarkable success, vaccines continue to be a subject of controversy and misinformation. Here at BCHIP, we believe that Bucks County residents should have access to safe and effective vaccines.
BCHIP leads the homebound immunization program. In partnership with Eric’s Rx, a group of compassionate pharmacists and nurses, we provide COVID-19, flu, shingles, and RSV vaccines to Bucks County residents who are unable to leave their home.
In addition to our homebound program, BCHIP offers mobile immunization clinics that include the COVID-19, flu, shingles, pneumococcal and tetanus vaccines. For children ages three and up, BCHIP can also provide flu and COVID-19 vaccines.
These mobile clinics can be offered at churches, apartment complexes, childcare centers, senior activity centers, food pantries and other community locations. If you or someone you know needs an in-home vaccine or you would like to host a mobile clinic, please contact us at 267-291-7882 or e-mail hmeyers@bchip.org.
