On behalf of the Newtown Business Association, we are excited to invite you to an event that stands out for its broad appeal to area businesses and local residents alike: the 2024 NBA Business Expo!
For local businesses, large and small, the event is a rare opportunity for firms of all stripes to mingle, showcase their offerings, share insights, and explore potential collaborations. For area residents, the event offers a chance to see and learn about products and services available in their own back yards, and to greet the people behind the local establishments who are so eager to work with them.
The Business Expo has a rich history.
For many years, it was hosted by NBA Partner the Newtown Athletic Club, in its large gymnasium.
After a temporary pandemic hiatus, Business Expo re-emerged in 2022 with a revised format, at a new location: Rafters Venue, a unique space for weddings and special events located in Newtown.
By 2023, Business Expo had returned fully to its past glory, selling out all available tables and even expanding available space so as not to disappoint would-be late registrants.
Craig Turet, a partner at Curtin & Heefner LLP, and Victoria Davis, Vice President, Univest Bank & Trust Co., both long-time board members of the NBA, are co-chairing the Business Expo event again this year.
They are excited to see a return of the extraordinary diversity of industries present at prior events: banks, law firms, accounting firms, realtors, insurance agencies, wealth managers, healthcare providers, contractors, area colleges, and claims adjusters…even a cannabis products store!
