Spotlight: Villa Victoria Academy

#villavic3-24On Sunday June 2nd, Villa Victoria Academy will celebrate the 90th year of Filippini education on the “banks of the Delaware” with a double birthday party.

Villa Victoria Academy has planned a special reception that will include a party for the school (1933-2023) and a birthday party for School President Sr. Lillian Harrington, who turns 90 years this June.

The reception will be held following the Class of 2024 graduation at Villa.

Villa Victoria Academy is a private, Catholic, all-girls school that has graduated over 1,800 young women since 1933.

The Villa mission is to send these young women out into the world to make a difference and influence the world in a truly Christian manner.

In 1933, Villa Victoria Academy was formally christened as a private academy.

Today Villa educates girls in grades 6-12 and is owned and operated by the Religious Teachers Filippini.

Villa Victoria Academy has grown and flourished into a highly regarded institute of learning at both the middle and secondary levels.

Villa Victoria strives to identify and cultivate the unique gifts and talents of each student in her care.

The students’ thirst for knowledge and innovation is complemented by the high standards of Villa Victoria Academy’s long-standing tradition of excellence in education. Students reside in Mercer County, Burlington County, Middlesex County, Hunterdon County and Bucks County.

Today VVA boasts a 990-seat theatre, a beautiful gym, a new TV studio, a dance studio, two art studios, a chapel and a strength training and conditioning room.

All past teachers, students, alumnae, family and friends of VVA are invited to the celebration on June 2nd.
