Five Mile Woods held a ribbon-cutting ceremony last month for its Accessible Boardwalk path that meanders through the site, located off a Big Oak Road.

The elevated decking allows those with mobility issues to safely navigate the Woods. Work is continuing on the project, which is 66% completed, as evidenced by volunteers arriving for construction duties on April 6th.
