Feasterville Rotary Club honors Students of the Month for March and April

The Feasterville Rotary Club recognized Allison Karpovich as March’s Student of the Month and Alexa Landman as April’s Student of the Month.

These girls were recognized at the March and April Feasterville Rotary Club’s meetings (respectively) each held at Erwin’s Country Kitchen in Trevose. They were each introduced to the Rotary by Ms. Vanessa Robtison, Grade-Level Assistant Principal at Neshaminy High School.

Allison lives in Feasterville with her mother, Karen Miller, and her twin sister, Kaylie. She has attended Neshaminy Schools for the past 12 years and carries a 4.21 GPA. Her Senior courses at NHS include Statistics, Environmental Studies, Earth and Space Science and Ceramics 2.

She is a dual-enrollment student, attending Bucks County Community College, where she studies Sociology, Psychology, English Comp and Life and Health.

In school activities, Allison is Director of Mini-THON (which raised over $46,000 last month to help combat childhood cancer), an interact Core member/leader, a member of Environmental Club, and she participates in Gym Night.

Her honors include induction into the National Honor Society where she holds an office and appearing consistently on the Distinguished Honor Roll.

Allison volunteers with Langhorne Harvest Day and Pet Fair, Children’s Christmas Breakfast and LSAA snack stand. She likes to spend time reading, sewing, baking, hiking, kayaking, and working with ceramics. She holds part-time jobs as a cashier at Liberty Ministries Thrift Shop and as a babysitter.

Allison’s long-range plans are to b e c o m e a registered nurse, work for a few years, then return to get her Master’s degree in nurse anesthesiology.

Once a nurse anesthesiologist, she would like to move to the southern United States and continue her career. Alexa lives in Feasterville with her father, John Landman, and grandmother, Nancy Matty, and her 14-year-old sister, Ashlee. She has attended Neshaminy Schools for the past four years, and her GPA is 3.89.

Her Senior courses include Statistics, AP Art and Design, Honors Human Anatomy & Physiology, AP Psychology, Child Development and Honors English 12.

She’s a member of National Honor Society, Friends Helping Friends, Interact and Environmental Clubs and has had multiple art pieces exhibited. Her name appears on the Distinguished Honor Roll.

Alexa volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and Caring for Friends. She enjoys creating art with various mediums and working at Liberty Ministries Thrift Shop.

She will attend West Chester University in the fall of 2024 to major in nursing. Her career plan is to earn a BSN degree in nursing and to work as a pediatric nurse.
