O’Rourke Media Group is pleased to welcome Perry Corsetti and June Portnoy to its Bucks County location.
Perry Corsetti has joined O’Rourke Media Group as General Manager, responsible for our 10 publications in Bucks County, formerly Times Publishing Newspapers, Inc.
Perry brings a tremendous background and deep experience with business management, community newspaper publishing and advertising sales.
“I’m excited that Perry has joined our team and confident that he will do a great job with continuing to publish engaging, hyper-local newspapers while also starting work to add digital products and solutions into the fold with readers and advertisers,” said Jim O’Rourke, CEO and Owner of O’Rourke Media Group.
Most recently, Perry was the Director of Sales for Elauwit Connection, a multi-family proptech and telecom company, where he was responsible for expanding their brand presence to over 300 companies in the US and Canada.
Prior to that role, Perry was the Chief Operating Officer for Newspaper Media Group, based in Cherry Hill, NJ, where he was responsible for 45+ community newspapers with total distribution that exceeded one million homes.
From 2005 to 2016, Perry was the Vice President of Finance and Operations for Broad Street Media, a large group of community newspapers and magazines based out of Trevose, PA.
“I am excited to be joining O’Rourke Media Group as GM of our business based out of Bucks County,” said Perry, “I believe in hyper-local community newspapers where we deliver local content that helps bring information on community events happening in your area. We also profile local businesses in the 10 communities that we serve with direct mailed publications. My goal is to not only continue to publish these great publications but to expand into other local communities in the future.”
June Portnoy has joined O’Rourke Media Group as Managing Editor.
She will be responsible for generating story ideas, planning, assigning, and editing print and digital content, as well as reporting on, writing and photographing events for publications in Bucks County.
June brings a strong digital and print background to OMG. She previously worked as a project manager for eight years at BroadcastMed, a digital healthcare publishing company where she managed the eBook Department, overseeing the creation, development, execution, and marketing of over 60 eBooks annually.
June is no stranger to her new editorial role at OMG. Prior to working at BroadcastMed, she worked at Times Publishing Newspapers for 10 years as Assistant Editor.
“I am thrilled to return to the world of community news,” said June. “There’s so much negative news reported about in other papers and on TV these days, that it’s very uplifting coming to work here each day to report on all the positive news fit to print.”
While raising her two daughters in Newtown, June worked as a freelance reporter for Times Publishing Newspapers, as well as MetroKids Magazine. She also wrote a full-length novel, “The Marriage Epidemic,” still available for sale on Amazon today.
