Langhorne Arts Fair and Dog Art Challenge
Langhorne Council for the Arts (LCA) invites adults, kids, and friendly dogs to a new event: Langhorne Arts Fair! This will be held at Langhorne Heritage Farm, 222 N. Green Street in Langhorne Borough on Saturday, June 1st (rain date June 2nd) from noon – 4:00pm.
Admission is free! Enjoy live music, artists and crafters, creative fun for kids, and the Dog Art Challenge. For more information, visit www.LanghorneArts.org or email LanghorneArtsEvents@gmail.com.
Artists and Crafters: Show and sell your work at the Arts Fair. Just $25 to reserve a spot. Email LanghorneArtsEvents@gmail.com with your name and phone number and a description of your art/craft. You will be contacted with details. You’ll need to provide your own table and set-up.
Kids: Did you know that Marquis de Lafayette was in Langhorne during the American Revolution? Come to the Arts Fair to get your own Flat Lafayette to color and take on trips this summer. Later in the season, LCA will host Lafayette Day where kids who took Flat Lafayette on their journeys will be awarded a prize. We will have other creative activities for kids, too.
Dogs: Unleash your dog’s creativity as we debut the Dog Artist Challenge! Yes, your dog can paint a one-of-a-kind masterpiece that is sure to become a treasured family heirloom. And your dog will never touch paint! How? you ask. Well, you’ll just have to come to the Arts Fair to see the creativity and hilarity! Friendly, leashed dogs can show off their artistic talents for just $10 a painting.
Who knows? Maybe your dog will be the next Pupcasso!
Other great events on tap include: Langhorne Summer Speakers Series, First Fridays in Hulmeville, Porch Fest, and Lafayette Day. Sign up for the LCA newsletter at www.LanghorneArts.org.
