Sensational summer at Free Library of Northampton Township

Summer wouldn’t be summer without libraries, summer reading, and great programs.

Here are the terrific events happening at Free Library of Northampton Township, located at 25 Upper Holland Rd, Richboro, in June, July, and August for kids and kids of all ages:

  • On Tuesday, June 25th at 6:30pm, join the Talewise crew and use science in the “Adventure of the Lost Treasure”.
  • Meet animals and learn about their lives in the fun-filled “Eyes of the Wild” program on Tuesday, July 9th at 6:30pm.
  • Be amazed at the slight-of-hand from the “Magician Ran’D Shine” as he performs his mesmerizing tricks on Tuesday, July 16th at 6:30pm.
  • Go back to the age of dinosaurs with “Dinoman” on Tuesday, July 23 at 6:30 PM. His blow-up dinosaurs visit the library where the audience learns about fossils, dinosaurs and much more.
  • Get your glow on at this fun family event featuring glow-tastic dancing on Tuesday, July 30th at 6:00pm.  Neon and glowing dress are encouraged – bring your light-up accessories too!
  • Checkmate! Come to the library on Mondays from June 25th through August 5th from 2:00pm – 4:00pm and partake of the Summer Chess Club for Kids.  Grades 3+
  • Build with LEGO every Tuesday, June 18th through August 3rd from 10:30am – 12:00pm.
  • On summer Wednesdays, June 18th through August 6th, join the “Art Lab Summer Adventures” (Grades K – 6 and families) and create a different art project each week.  Plan to get messy!
  • Get reading to the Nor’Wester Therapy Dogs on Thursdays, July 11th through August 1st at 1:00pm.  Kids in grades K – 5 strengthen their reading skills as they bond with precious pooches.
