The staff at Heller’s Seafood don’t just fill orders at the counter, they bring years of valuable knowledge in the fish industry. This experience enables them to offer customers some suggestions based on their individual tastes, provide preparation suggestions and even favorite recipes. Several staff members alone bring over 100 years of combined experience to the counter:
Jack Skudris’ food service career started at The Nut Kettle in Peddler’s Village and since then, he has worked in a variety of settings within the industry including operating dinner theaters, managing restaurants, opening his own seafood market and starting a very successful catering business, Memorable Affairs Catering. He ran his catering business for 27 years where he expanded to having a 300-seat banquet facility and contracts
Scott Espenshade spent summers in Delaware fishing, clamming and crabbing. Scott always preferred scallops and soft-shell crabs to hoagies and cheesesteaks and eventually started working at Sea Garden Seafood. He was introduced to Greg Heller who brought him to the Fulton Fish Market in NYC where he expanded his knowledge. He enjoys cutting fish, opening oysters, and engaging with customers over the last 40 years.
Becca O’Brien has been a professional cook for 25 years. Beginning at Barclay Prime in Philadelphia, her career has included a number of positions as chef, consultant, and eventually, started her own catering company. She has taught cooking classes and has served as a chef in residence. She has found her dream job at Heller’s with a supportive and knowledgeable team of coworkers-turned-friends.

Hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10am until 6pm and Sunday from 10am until 3pm. The store is closed on Monday.
