Give your child the best start: United Way’s pre-K counts opens doors to success

Imagine your child stepping into kindergarten proud, confident, and ready to thrive. That’s the power of early childhood education, and it’s within your reach.

High-quality pre-K programs are game changers. They’re launchpads for your child’s physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth. They are also safe and healthy places to grow. But let’s be honest: here in Bucks County, many families struggle to cover the high cost of high quality.

Luckily, we have a solution. Since 2007, Pennsylvania’s Pre-K Counts program has been leveling the playing field, ensuring that every child gets a strong start in life.

Here in Bucks County, United Way is leading the charge. We’ve partnered with 13 incredible programs, all with the highest possible quality ratings – and conveniently located in communities across the county. Most of our families choose sites that are 15 minutes or less from work or home.

The best part? It’s absolutely free for low- and moderate-income families who qualify. For reference, families of four in our program have household incomes up to $93,600 this year.

We will be enrolling up to 450 children to start Pre-K Counts in the fall. The children in our programs achieve incredible things and develop a true love of learning. You will be amazed by what your child learns – and the skills they develop.

Slots are filling fast, so don’t miss this opportunity. Visit www.uwbucks.org/preKeducation for information, including site locations, or contact Kristi Moreno, United Way of Bucks County’s Impact Director of Education at 215-949-1660, ext. 108.

Remember, investing in your child’s early education isn’t just smart. It’s one of the most powerful things you can do for their future. Act now and watch your little one soar!
