Our Treasured Park System:
It is an exciting time for Doylestown Township Parks & Recreation. In 2025, we will celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Central Park, and the establishment of our Parks & Recreation Department. Construction has begun in Central Park for the Doylestown Township Community Recreation Center and the bold Park Improvement Project – adding 14 new outdoor sports courts and a permanent and accessible restroom facility to service the park, amphitheater and Kids Castle.
The Doylestown Township Park System was created in 1971 with the acquisition of the 13-acre Sauerman Park. Additional park land was acquired over the years, including the Ridings Tract, Turk Park, Bridgepoint Park, Neamand Park, Castle Valley and Triangle Park. The revered Central Park opened in 1995 and has been a destination for residents and visitors for decades.
Your participation in this event will directly impact the well-being of community members who will benefit from the programs, resources and social connectivity opportunities all set in our beautiful Central Park.
