Historic Newtown Holiday Parade returns December 8 – Seeking sponsors to keep the tradition alive

The Newtown Business Association (NBA) is thrilled to announce the return of the beloved Newtown Holiday Parade on Sunday, December 8. This cherished community event has become a hallmark of the holiday season, bringing families together to experience the magic of the season as it unfolds along the streets of Newtown.

From the joyful melodies of festive bands to the jolly greetings from Santa Claus, the Newtown Holiday Parade embodies the spirit of community and the joy of the season. This year’s parade promises to be as spectacular as ever – an anticipated 1,800 participants coming together to create an unforgettable experience. The festivities will begin promptly at 2 pm, as the parade winds its way through town.

This year, more than ever, the NBA is grateful to continue this treasured tradition despite rising costs. As a dedicated community organization, we are committed to delivering a spectacular parade that residents have come to love, but we also recognize the challenges posed by inflation and increased expenses. To ensure this year’s parade is the best one yet, we are actively seeking sponsors. This is a fantastic early opportunity for local businesses to get involved and make a lasting impact on our community by supporting an event that brings joy to thousands.

In addition to sponsors, we are calling on volunteers to help make this year’s parade a success. Whether it’s assisting with logistics or helping coordinate participants, there are many ways to get involved. For more information or to inquire about sponsorship and volunteer opportunities, please contact: Dan Petty and Rob Howell, event co-chairs, at dan.Petty@edwardjones.com and rhowell2@wsfsbank.com.
