Spotlight: Artefact

Artefact owners, Rick and Sally Fehrs.

Celebrating 37 years in business

This year’s annual anniversary sale will celebrate the milestone year of Artefact’s opening in 1987. The sale begins on Thursday, Sept. 26 and runs through Saturday, Sept. 28th from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm.

Artefact was opened by three architects as a place to view and purchase architectural elements and artifacts from the past. Rick and Sally Fehrs are original owners and continue to operate the store.

If you haven’t been to Artefact, you are truly missing out on a unique experience. Exploring the displays in the 19th century stone barn in which the store is housed offers part education and part design inspiration.

The 6500 square-foot space is filled with architectural salvage. Unique finds ranging from vintage to contemporary make it very different from a typical antique store.

The formal gardens provide an outdoor space through which to stroll and admire antique and reproduction garden pieces in bronze, iron, marble, stone, terracotta, and wood.

If you are looking for something distinctive for your home or garden at an affordable price, Artefact is a must see.

Come out and visit this one-of-a-kind showroom at 790 Edison-Furlong Road, Furlong.

Regular store hours are Monday through Friday from 11 am to 5 pm, and Saturdays from 10 am to 5 pm. The store is closed on Sundays. Shoppers are always welcome to explore the website at www.artefactantiques.com.
