Spotlight: Charlann Farms

Complete your fall checklist at Charlann Farms

by Lori Katz

As daylight hours shorten, the landscape changes from vibrant shades of green to infinite hues of beautiful fall foliage. Fall is a special time of year on the farm and we are more grateful each year as we watch families make memories on our small, sixth generation farm.

We at Charlann Farms are beginning our preparations for another fun-filled fall season on the farm. Our farmstand will begin to transform into a fall wonderland of sorts – pumpkins everywhere, colorful and full mums, cornstalks, straw bales and fall decor!

Our Fall Festival begins on September 21 and will run every Saturday and Sunday through October 27, 10 am – 5 pm.

Families can take a hayride to an even bigger corn maze and pick your own pumpkin patch! We will still have the fan favorites – a corn pit, Jump Pad, pumpkin painting, bouncy animals, straw mountain, straw maze, pony rides and may even add some other fun games/activities! Each child receives a sugar pumpkin to paint at the pumpkin painting station.

There will be food trucks on-site each weekend. We will once again have a beer/cocktail garden for the adults, so come enjoy some refreshing drinks! We will also have delicious apple cider slushies and apple cider donuts available throughout the season!

Our Fall Festival will continue to have a morning and afternoon session. The morning session is 10 am -1:15 pmm and the afternoon session is 1:45 – 5:00pm. We ask that people choose whichever entry time is good for them. This allows us to ensure more people can enjoy the farm without feeling overcrowded, and it also gives our staff and the ponies a short break!

Tickets are available through our website at www.charlannfarms.com. Come Fall into Fun on our farm and continue making memories with us!
