Funny fundraisers
In 1987 a customer approached Comedy Cabaret owner Andy Scarpati, AKA Dr. Scarpati and asked if he could have a fundraising event for his little league team at the Comedy Club. Scarpati’s question was how would we do that? The response was, we will split the ticket price with you. And just like that Funny fundraisers were born.
Comedy Cabaret loves working with groups and organizations! In Bucks County, we have our Doylestown Club and we do some occasional shows at the Temperance House in Newtown. With all the Comedy Cabaret venues, we are happy to report we have raised over $500,000 dollars together with the community through Funny Fundraisers over the past 35 years! We’ve hosted events for sports teams, cheerleading groups, marching bands, gymnastics teams, civic groups, political groups, and events like SouthamptonDays.
We have also worked with the Alzheimer’s Association, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Autism, Epilepsy, Ronald McDonald House, Harmony Retreat, A Woman’s Place in Doylestown, Bucks County Opportunity Council, North Penn Theater Guild, Pennsbury Ultimate Frisbee, Kawana’s Club, Ark Wildlife, Children’s Tumor Foundation, Penn State Alumni Association, Toastmasters, Salfid Dog Rescue, Volunteer Fire Companies, Boy Scouts, and many more.
