SPOTLIGHT: Joe Hogan, State Representative

Joe Hogan, Candidate for State Representative

During my first term in office, my team and I have done a lot of great work on behalf of our community. We are the only state representative team in Bucks County with two full time offices and the first and only to offer dog licenses. My team and I were the first to also promote an existing program offered by Bucks County Recorder of Deeds Dan McPhillips office to protect your home’s title.

We have helped with thousands of casework issues ranging from simple SEPTA Senior Fare Card applications, resolving PennDOT issues, to more complicated matters involving unemployment compensation or state tax issues. And we’ve done it all while providing some new and some familiar community events such as the free shredding events to protect your identity, senior expos, and information seminars with local non-profit organizations or other elected officials.

In Harrisburg I’ve worked to bring the tax dollars we send there, back to our community. We’ve made serious investments in local law enforcement and by working across the aisle, delivered historic funding for our schools.

I worked with Governor Shapiro to provide the largest property tax relief in over two decades for qualifying Pennsylvanians and supported legislation to help control the costs of prescription drugs. For families, I’ve championed important issues like access to early childhood education programs, school safety, and threw my support behind an effort to lower the income tax for everyone. I’m proud of what I have been able to accomplish during my first term in office. That is why I am respectfully asking for your support to continue serving you in a second term as your state representative.
