Bringing next-level skilled nursing care to Bucks County

A transformation is well underway at Oxford Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Langhorne, bringing next-level skilled nursing care to Bucks County. In the midst of a multi-million-dollar, top-to-bottom modernization, the skilled nursing center is celebrating renovation milestones with the near-completion of its new, state-of-the-art Dialysis Unit and the opening of its expanded rehab therapy gym.

Set to open this fall, the Dialysis Unit features six chairs in a comfortable, modern environment. The in-facility, state-of-the-art unit will treat Oxford Rehabilitation & Healthcare residents in partnership with Dialyze Direct, one of the nation’s leading providers of home dialysis services in skilled nursing facilities.

Oxford’s expansive gym features top-of-the-line equipment, including technology to support the delivery of progressive rehab services. In addition, the space incorporates a renovated activities of daily living (ADL) suite, mimicking a home environment with a kitchen, bedroom and bathroom – enabling patients the opportunity to regain skills before returning home.

During the renovation process, the Bucks County center has continued to enhance its specialized programming in partnership with leading regional healthcare providers as well. Physician-led offerings include Cardiac Care and Pulmonary Care, among others.

Oxford’s reputation for excellence in skilled nursing care and services is well established. The center has earned a prestigious accreditation for quality care and services from The Joint Commission and also earned the American Heart Association’s new Skilled Nursing Facility Heart Failure Center Certification.

Located at 300 E. Winchester Ave., Oxford provides post-hospital, short-term rehab and long-term residential care. The skilled nursing center is part of the Oxford Enhanced Senior Living campus, which also includes independent living apartments as well as Oxford Crossings, a personal care component featuring a memory care unit.
