Are you looking for a fulfilling way to give back to your community? Consider joining the Pickering Manor Auxiliary! As an Auxiliary member, you’ll be part of a compassionate team dedicated to enhancing the lives of the residents at Pickering Manor.
For over 60 years, the Auxiliary has played a vital role in supporting the residents by organizing events, fundraising, and providing meaningful assistance. From summer picnics and fashion shows to holiday celebrations, the Auxiliary brings joy and enrichment to Pickering’s community. Over the past year alone, the Auxiliary raised nearly $6,000 to fund activities that directly benefit residents across Independent Living, Personal Care, Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, and Memory Care neighborhoods.
Being an Auxiliary member isn’t just about giving back – it’s also a chance to engage with fellow community members, build lasting friendships, and enjoy exclusive invitations to Auxiliary-hosted events. Whether you’re volunteering at a fundraiser, leading a bingo game, or helping organize a holiday celebration, every contribution you make will have a positive impact on residents’ lives.
We welcome individuals of all backgrounds to join us, whether you have an hour to spare or want to take on a larger role. Membership starts at just $30 per year, and all contributions go directly toward resident programs.
