Spotlight: RD’s Total Lawn

The Dittes Family

RD’s Total Lawn is a local landscape company located in Langhorne. The owners, Ryan and Lindsay, started their small business back in 2018 as just a side hustle to save money for maternity leave. Since then, the family has been blessed with great customers and loyal employees. In 2024 Ryan left his full-time job to run RD’s while Lindsay was at home with the three young children.

The 2024 summer was tough on many lawns. They wanted to share their top reasons to aerate and overseed this fall! Skip the big corporate company and buy local by supporting RD’s Total Lawn and their family with your business.

  1. Relieve Soil Compaction – Aeration pulls plugs out of the ground to relieve compacted soil. All year long you have people walking on it, kids playing, lawn mowers riding over it, weather elements hitting it, which all build up that compaction in your soil.
  2. Deeper Root System – When you open the ground up like this, you allow water, sunlight, and nutrients to get into your soil past that thatch layer.
  3. Improve Drainage – With compacted soil at times you may notice puddling in your yard after rain. Aeration helps water to soak into the ground quicker and avoid puddling.
  4. Thicker Lawn – Overseeding will help fill in bare spots, especially if you have some stressed out yellow or dead areas in your lawn from a tough summer.
  5. 100% organic – The great thing about aeration and overseeding is that it’s 100% organic. There are no chemicals involved and it is pet and kid safe 100% immediately after service.

RD’s team would love the opportunity to work with you and provide you with best-in-class service! The company encourages you to check out their reputation online at www.RDTotalLawn.com or call them at 215-688-1622.
