Crafts in the Meadow – Art, Food, Music and Natural Beauty!

Annual Crafts in the Meadow Extravaganza

Artisans at the pinnacle of their medium gather annually in idyllic Tyler State Park to share the fruits of their creativity with the community during Crafts in the Meadow, Tyler Park Center for the Arts highly juried Fine Art and Craft Show.

Meeting the artists, exploring hands on demonstrations and special opportunities to elevate gift giving and personal indulgence alike, attendees are greeted with beautiful handmade pottery, fine art, photography, wood working, fiber art, jewelry, glass, leather, wearable art, and more.

See how basketry, wheel thrown pottery, spinning, leather work, woodworking and cobb constructed structures are created. Taste local craft beer from Warwick Farms Brewing while listening to exceptional live New Orleans R&B, Eclectic Blues, country and classic sounds as they fill the meadow with music to accompany the event.

Delicious food offerings including Greek, vegan, specialty coffee drinks, American specialties and kettle corn can also be enjoyed in the expansive central garden and sculpture area seated on comfy hay bale couches and picnic tables.

Each year, area non-profit groups are included in the show free of charge. Meet Rocylin’s Rescue miniature horses, Rainbow Room kids, A Woman’s Place volunteers and generous show sponsors Trinity Health, Penn Community Bank, McCaffery’s Markets, and Tyler State Park.

Patrons are an integral part of the fabric of this diverse community art center where many of the artisans also teach workshops and classes throughout the year culminating with the 19th annual Crafts in the Meadow extravaganza held on October 19 from 10 am – 5 pm and October 20, 10 am -4pm.

Half-price tickets are available at TylerParkArts.org until October 2. Special artists spotlights can be followed at Tyler Park Center for the Arts FB and Instagram.
