Spotlight: Christ United Methodist Church

Christ United Methodist Church (CUMC), 501 Wistar Road in Fairless Hills, has been serving its community since 1975. The CUMC congregation actively participates in various outreach programs to address the needs of the community: food drives and distribution, clothing donation drives, and support for local homeless shelters. These initiatives not only provide essential services but also strengthen the bonds between church members and the wider community.

CUMC has three Sunday services, traditional services at 8 am and 11 am, and a contemporary service at 9:30 am. In addition to worship services, CUMC offers spiritual development programs and ministries such as Bible studies, Sunday School classes, prayer groups, book clubs, and men’s and women’s ministries. There is a ministry for Junior and Senior High youth.

There is a spring Easter Egg Hunt, a summer Vacation Bible School (VBS), summer camps for children and youth, a fall Halloween Trunk or Treat event, and a winter Live Nativity drive through event.

The church also hosts social events and community gatherings. Upcoming events include a Thanksgiving Eve Service (November 27 at 7 pm), Love Feast Services (special song services to mark the beginning of Advent – with apple cider and sweet rolls!: December 1, 8 am, 9:30 am, 11 am), a drive-through nativity (December 8, 6 to 8 pm, with a rain date of December 15), and Christmas Eve carol services (December 24 at 5 pm, 7 pm, and 11 pm).

Christ United Methodist Church stands as a testament to the power of faith in action, exemplifying the values of love, service, and community. Whether you are seeking a place to worship, looking to volunteer, or simply wanting to connect with others, CUMC welcomes you to join them!
