Owner Arthur Mirzakan is a fifth-generation barber who immigrated to the United States with his family from the former Soviet Union as a child, in search of a better life. Raised in New York, Arthur followed in the footsteps of his father, grandfather, and great-grandfather to become a barber.
After the events of 9/11, his family relocated to Arizona, where Arthur and his father opened the first Exclusively Men’s Barber & Spa. In his late 20s, Arthur returned to New York City, where he met his wife, Margarita.
During his time in New York, he worked for The Art of Shaving, gaining invaluable experience, including the opportunity to service celebrity clients like Shaquille O’Neal, Mayor Rudy Giuliani, and even shaving NBC news anchor Matt Lauer live on TV.
After several trips to visit friends in Pennsylvania, Arthur and Margarita fell in love with the charm of Doylestown, which they felt was the perfect place to raise their two boys and fulfill Arthur’s original dream of opening his own shop.
