Summer Camp registration begins on January 3!
We know Summer Camps seem a long way away right now, but registration will be here before you know it. Registration for all summer camp options opens on Friday, January 3, 2025.
We will have our traditional 8-week summer camp at Dolphin Park from June 23 through August 15. This camp runs daily from 8 am – 5 pm and features at least one trip per week, arts & crafts, sports, games, and many other activities to keep your child active and happy all summer long.
There is also a 6-week option available for those who want to plan a family vacation or two without worrying about paying for camp those weeks. Be sure to register early as this camp will fill up quickly!
For those families that aren’t in need of a full summer camp we have many different choices for one-week camps. The Sarah Mitchell Community Center will feature LEGO camps that promise to engage and entertain your child, a science camp that is perfect for the young scientist who would love to do experiments while making new friends.
Our popular slime week camp is back again enabling your child to play with slime all day without bringing home the mess along with multiple options for art, drama, and more.
The newest additions to our summer camp offerings are sports camps that will be held at Russel Elliot Memorial Park. These week-long camps will feature drills, games, strategy discussions, and more. The camps are designed for all abilities so whether your child is a regular player or is brand new to the sport, they will learn new skills and have a great time with new friends. Currently we are planning on offering baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, and a week of skateboarding, but be sure to check our website and Facebook page at “Lower Southampton Parks and Recreation” for updated information.
