Spotlight: RD’s Total Lawn

The Dittes Family

From corporate life to lawn care: The first year of RD’s Total Lawn

When it comes to supporting a local family business, look no farther than RD’s Total Lawn.

The owners, Ryan and Lindsay, live in Langhorne with their three young children. Lindsay graduated from Neshaminy high school, and Ryan from Bucks County Technical High school.

Initially Ryan started the family business just mowing a handful of lawns on the side in 2018 so his wife could take an extended maternity leave with their second child. In 2019 Lindsay left a full-time teaching position to be at home with the kids.

Over the years the company had healthy growth and in 2024, Ryan made the leap of faith and left a corporate job at Coca-Cola of 15 years to focus on the business full time. They currently employ 10 employees during their season.

When it comes to services, RD’s prefers to do a short list of services and do them very well instead of offering a long list of items without being able to deliver strong results on each one.

Communication is the foundation of the way they go to business. From the time you first reach out until the job gets completed, RD’s Total Lawn strives to keep constant communication with customers. Their reputation speaks for itself!
