Cailey Chin was recognized as Student of the Month for October by the Feasterville Rotary Club at its meeting on October 10 at Erwin’s Country Kitchen.
She lives in Feasterville with her parents, Crystal Sung and Htaung Chin. She has attended Neshaminy Schools for the past 4 years, and her GPA is 4.58.
Cailey was introduced to the Rotary by Mrs. Bobbi Cimochowski, Grade 12 Assistant Principal at Neshaminy High School.
Her Senior courses include Honors English 12, Honors Macroeconomics, AP Physics C, AP Calculus BC, AP Spanish 5, AP Psychology and AP Computer Science A (Java).
At school, she’s involved in MiniTHON, and is a member of Future Problem Solvers, Speech & Debate, FBLA, Scholars’ Bowl and Interact.
Cailey’s a member of the National Honor Society, World Language Honor Society, Future Problem Solvers PA Champion, and Future Problem Solvers International Finalist. Her name appears on the Distinguished Honor Roll.
Outside of school, she volunteers at the Einstein Hospital Pharmacy and is Chief Marketing Officer at Project Empower (a non-profit for uplifting students). She enjoys video editing, graphic design, volunteering, playing video games, reading, hiking and sight-seeing and interning at PA State Representative Joe Hogan’s office.
Cailey will attend college to get a Bachelor’s degree in statistics, marketing or finance and possibly go on to earn a Master’s degree on her way to becoming an actuary or statistician.
