Think you should wait until spring to sell? Perhaps not!

People often think they should wait until spring to sell their home, but there are some distinct advantages to selling in the “off- season” especially now. Already low inventory levels are even lower at this time of year, which means you’ll have less competition—and what competition there is, has probably been hanging around for a while. That means your home will stand out and get noticed.

People also think there’s no buyers at this time of year—which is also untrue, especially now. Because of the shortage of inventory, many who wanted to buy last fall couldn’t find anything and are still looking. While you may not have the quantity of showings now, the quality is higher, as those looking are serious about buying. If you’re considering a move up, selling now can put you in a position to be a buyer when inventory levels are at their highest during the spring market. Finally, if life circumstances dictate that it’s time to move—then move! Stop trying to time the market and start moving forward to the life you desire. I’m here to help in any way I can.
