Where pets get treated like royalty!
Founder, Monica Zelesnick’s love for animals started at a very early age. At social gatherings, she would be hanging out with the pets of the house and by ten years old, she was walking pets for neighbors. Once she was 16, she began pet sitting and was looking ahead to a possible career as a veterinarian.
Once she graduated from high school, she began working for a local pet boarding business and truly enjoyed all parts of her job. When she decided that veterinary school wasn’t feasible, Monica pursued a degree program that utilized her artistic talents and graduated with a degree in graphic design.
Despite her design degree, Monica continued working with animals at a local pet boarding establishment and learned all aspects of animal care as well as the administrative side of the business over the ten years that she was there.
In 2021, Monica discussed her interest in starting her own business with her father, Chris Sr. and together they evaluated options to buy an existing pet care business or purchase a franchise; neither of those options felt right.
With her father’s encouragement and financial background, she decided to open her own business from the ground up. Her brother, Chris Jr., joined the family team to help achieve Monica’s vision. Together they have over 75 years of combined experience with animals and provide daycare, boarding and grooming in a safe, clean and stimulating environment for pets.
A close second to their priority of providing high pet care standards is the peace of mind they provide to pet owners. The entire building is equipped with a sprinkler system as a precautionary safety measure, and it is standard for pet owners whose pets are being boarded to receive daily texts with photos of their fur babies.
