TPCA Creative Summer Camp: Exploring the White Whale
With glistening landscapes, birds drawn to feeders and the new year upon us there is time to breathe in recent memories of warm gatherings and embrace fresh new beginnings. The arts fill lives with purpose, encourage new pathways of creativity and bring meaning to daily life. Whether visiting shows or museums, attending a play or taking a new class, Bucks County and our surrounding cities have it all.
At Tyler Park Center for the Arts in Richboro there are a plethora of options to enhance life through the arts from workshops and classes in glass, pottery, sculpture, fiber, fine art, jewelry and mosaic to upcoming Spring and Summer offerings for all ages.
Looking ahead to summer, Creative Summer Camps for ages 8 through 16 offer Individual Art Intensive weeks for aspiring young artists. Mini Camps for Littles and Teens with Art Around the World, Under the Sea, and Cooking and Crafts weeks are great offerings ready for enrollment.
April brings our free Community Day for families to explore Earth Center Pottery including community sculpture, crafts and collaborations with Tyler State Park environmental education presenter Bonnie Tobin, Girl Scout offerings, and our own Ivy Hill Apiary honeybee share with observation hive and extraction demonstrations, temperature permitting.
Members of the art center enjoy perks like the opportunity to participate in the annual Members Art Show being held this year from June 6th through 8th. Everyone is invited to this weekend celebrating emerging and professional artists.
