Trevose Horticultural Society’s March meeting

‘Elderberry Honey’ will be the featured program at The Trevose Horticultural Society’s monthly meeting on Tuesday, March 18 at 7 PM at the Bensalem Senior Center, 1850 Byberry Road in Bensalem. In a fun presentation, club members Phyllis Ashcraft and Ed Tremblay will share their five-year experience making Elderberry syrup for their own consumption. Using the materials and ingredients needed, they will demonstrate how to make the syrup and discuss the health benefits of Elderberry syrup. Samplings will be available.

Also, Denis and Rachel Cockerham from Bucksadelphia, who produce natural raw honey among other products, will share information about bees, hives, and benefits of local honey.

All meetings are open to the public; Pay $5 donation to observe. For further information, please contact 856-866-9163, browse our website at www.Trevosegardeners.org, or follow us on Facebook.
