Lower Southampton Parks and Recreation is kicking off the Back-to-School season with a wide range of programming for all ages.
Looking for reasonably priced extracurricular classes for your kids? Look no further!
We will be offering a variety of classes for kids of all ages including several forms of dance, tumbling, art, drama, and more. Parks & Recreation also has several adult class offerings including Zumba, Yoga, and Pilates.
Be sure to look for our programs in this issue and/or visit the website for detailed information and to register, www.lowersouthampton.recdesk.com. In person registration is available at the Township Building Monday through Friday from 9:30am until 4:30pm.
On Saturday, October 1st we will be hosting a Community Day and First Responder Event. The event is designed to bring our community together and cultivate relationships. Activities will include a car show, motorcycle club, police K-9 demonstration, face painting, moon bounces, food vendors and more! Bring the family out to join the fun at Russell Elliot Memorial Park from noon – 4:00pm.
Start planning for our second annual Halloween and Christmas house decorating contests! Interested residents can help us promote community spirit by decorating their houses and emailing us at contest@lstwp.org to register for the contest.
This free, friendly competition will feature prizes for the top three houses, as voted on by the township residents. Registration for houses will open on September 1st for Halloween and November 1st for Christmas.
We are also looking to partner with interested local business to sponsor the contest and prizes.
