Spotlight: Feasterville Rotary

Providing ‘Service above Self’ for over 50 years!

Chartered in 1973, the Feasterville Rotary is part of Rotary International, the world’s first volunteer service organization.

Rotary’s 35,000+ clubs in over 200 countries and territories encourage high ethical standards and carry out humanitarian projects to address issues such as poverty, health, hunger, education, and the environment.

Rotarians strive to follow Rotary’s Four-Way Test of things we think, say, or do:

  1. Is it the truth?
  2. Is it fair to all concerned?
  3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
  4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

Our club provides/provided funds/volunteerism: A Women’s Place, Advocates for Homeless and Those in Need, Area of Aging, Clean Up Day, Ekenywa Water Project in Kenya, Friends of the Library, HOPE (stop sex trafficking organization), Howler Art and Literary Magazine, Najivunia Kuwa Dada in Nakuru, Neshaminy Senior Center, Playwicki Farm, PolioPlus, St. Peter’s Orphanage in Uganda, Sunshine Foundation, Travis Manion 9/11 Heroes Run, Bucks County Youth Orchestra, Crisis Canine Response, Lower Southampton Library, Symphony Manor, Wreaths Across America. and local food banks.

Feasterville Rotary projects: Coats for Kids, read to young children at Playwicki Farm and on the Feasterville Library Facebook page, honor a high school student of the month, provide scholarships to exceptional high school seniors.

Feasterville Rotary sponsors Rotary youth Early Act and Interact at our local schools.

Thanks to the generosity of residents, businesses, and organizations, we are able to fund programs through our fundraisers.

We meet at Erwin’s Country Kitchen located at 4059 Brownsville Road in Trevose on the first through third Thursdays at 8:00am and the fourth Thursday at 6:00pm.

Please e-mail us at FeastervilleRotary@gmail.com to attend. It will be our pleasure to meet you.

We look forward to another year of “Service above Self.”
