As we enter the 2024 market, I’m frequently asked what to expect. After 40 years of reading the market I’m pretty good at it.
After several crazy years with price increases and lack of inventory, the market has slowed slightly, but we do anticipate a continued lack of inventory. Several reasons, younger buyers are priced out of the market, trade up buyers are scarce due to escalating prices, and older buyers have few options to trade down and save money.
I do believe Morrisville will be a hot market due to affordability, and hopefully more buyers consider Morrisville, and more sellers and buyers realize the value of an underpriced area.
We do not anticipate prices dropping, in fact quite the opposite. The key is working with a realtor who specializes in the Morrisville area. Having grown up and gone to school in Morrisville, I’m in a position to recommend and sell Morrisville as my hometown.
If you are considering buying or selling, give me a call, text, or e-mail and I’d be happy to give you an accurate current home value. Zillow is notoriously inaccurate.
With inventory so slim, we are desperate for listings so keep me in mind. We are still experiencing bidding wars on some properties, if marketed correctly.
