Spotlight: Manoff Market Gardens & Cidery

For Manoff Market Gardens & Cidery, located at 3157 Comfort Road in New Hope, their cider journey started in 2018 when they received their winery license. Their cider is made from apples grown in their orchard.

Inspired by tradition and hope for the future of farming, they are reimagining the potential for apples and cider grown in this region of Bucks County.

Amy and Gary started the farm as idealistic young graduates in 1984 and their children have continued to work alongside them. With a focus on quality and craft they do all stages of production from fermentation to barrel aging and bottling.

When you visit their tasting room, you can expect a variety of dry, sparkling ciders to sample and bottles to purchase. Casual indoor and outdoor seating is available.

Among the many to choose from, single varietals like Goldrush and Stayman are distinct because much like grapes, each apple variety has its own character.

Blending and aging in different wood barrels adds further notes to their Barrel of Monkeys and canned Comfort ciders. They offer one semi-sweet cider for each season, usually with another fruit or botanical addition like Zing! (ginger/pear), or Strawberry Rhubarb.

All bottles and cans are shelf stable and make excellent gifts. Custom gift basket options are available. Gluten free and naturally crafted, cider is gaining a growing following for those looking for a sustainable, versatile beverage. Looking for non-alcoholic?

They have fresh cider seasonally and a canned sparkling non-alcoholic option available in their farm market.

You can support local by gifting cider or joining their cider club and following them on social media @manoffmarket.

Check their cidery calender for events, classes, and live music. Cheers!
