Pickering Manor will hold an open house for its Independent Living Cottages and newly added amenity, the Clubhouse at the Manor on Sunday, April 7th from 1:00 to 4:00pm.
Pickering Manor, a continuum of care Life Plan Community, is nestled in a residential neighborhood just blocks away from the heart of Newtown Borough and its assortment of shops, restaurants, entertainment venues, worship centers, and historical sites.
The open house will feature a beautifully renovated two-bedroom, two-bathroom cottage that is now available. Enjoy worry-free living, the Cottages are a buy-in into the continuum of care and Pickering staff provides housekeeping, chef-prepared meals, and maintenance-free living.
In addition, Pickering recently completed the transition of the Manor into a gathering and dining space for our Cottage Residents to enjoy.
The Manor renovations were made possible by the generous donations of those who supported our Spring Appeal and the tireless efforts of our Maintenance staff.
The new Clubhouse at the Manor offers a beautiful, home-like space where independent living residents can socialize, dine, exercise, read, engage in various enrichment activities, or simply find serenity on the porch.
“We are thrilled to invite the community to tour our Cottages and our newly added Clubhouse at the Manor,” said David Woodhead, CEO of Pickering Manor. “So, if you or a loved one are looking to make that transition to a more carefree, safe, and secure environment, please keep Pickering Manor in mind and come in for a tour or attend our Open House for the Cottages and Clubhouse on April 7th.”
Located at 226 North Lincoln Avenue in Newtown, Pickering Manor is a 5-star non-profit Continuing Care/Life Plan Community offering Cottages, Apartments, Personal Care, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, and a state-of-the-art Rehab.
