Chef Andrea Esposito named among Who’s Who in America
There is no doubt where Chef Andrea Esposito’s culinary talents were cultivated and nurtured.
Growing up in Italy with a mother who prepared delicious homemade meals with love and a father who owned several restaurants; one could safely say cooking was in his blood. Andrea showed interest in the restaurant business at an early age and worked in his father’s restaurants.
It soon became clear to him that this was the profession he wanted to pursue, and he attended culinary school in Italy. After working in the business in Italy for several years, in 2012 Andrea came to the US.
He continued to learn and develop his culinary skills by running several restaurants in Pennsylvania. He met his wife Giuseppina while in Italy in 2014. She moved here and the couple was married in 2021.
They both missed authentic Italian cuisine and dreamed of opening a restaurant that would offer “a taste of Italy.” In 2022, that dream came true with the opening of Gusto.
Together the couple has worked to establish the restaurant as a unique dining experience with a traditional Italian multi-course menu with portions and combinations that are characteristic of Italy.
They have uncompromising standards when it comes to the ingredients they use; all of their ingredients are either imported from Italy or prepared in-house.
As a relatively new restaurant, there is much to celebrate. They have received an award from Eccellenze Italiane, a Best Restaurant 2024 award from Restaurant Guru and Chef Andrea was named to Who’s Who in America.
The biggest reason for celebration came in February with the birth Andrea and Giuseppina’s daughter, Assunta! If you are looking for a superior Italian dining experience, look no further!
