Spring/Summer Happenings at Charlann Farms

by Lori Katz

The winter months always provide us at Charlann Farms with a little time for rest and recalibration, but it is also an important time for reflection and planning.

Over the last year, we have implemented many changes with the goal of sharing our farm with more people and connecting with our local community.

Last spring, we debuted a renovated farmstand complete with a kitchen space, allowing us to sell additional items. Our goal in doing this was to offer convenience for our customers.

This spring, we are continuing to sell local milk in glass bottles, fresh eggs, local bread, cheeses, fruits and vegetables, and local meats from Jericho Mountain Beef.

June will be an especially busy month for us at Charlann Farms. Our 2nd Annual Touch a Truck/Tractor event will occur on Saturday, June 1st from11am – 3pm.

This day offers a unique opportunity for tractor-lovers to climb and explore some of our large and small tractors. We will also have military vehicles, fire and police vehicles, dump trucks and more!

There will be food, music, games, pony rides, our huge Jump Pad, and other kid-friendly activities. The event is free, but some activities will have a fee.

June 6th will mark our first CSA (Community-Supported Agriculture) pickup of the season.

On June 7th, we will host locally-grown comedians for the Funny Farm Comedy Show.

Charlann Farms will also be the venue for the Go Cornhole Summer league, running every Wednesday, beginning June 19th. We will have more fun events to share for July and August.

Check out our website www.charlannfarms.com or follow us on Facebook/Instagram for ticket information and to stay up to date about upcoming events.

Stop in our farmstand at 586 Stony Hill Road in Yardley, 10am – 6pm seven days a week.
