Free programs for K-7 and teens
Congregation Beth El of Bucks County is proud to announce exciting new religious school programs for kids and teens!
All programs are tuition-free for synagogue members.
For kids in grades K – 7, Beth El’s Fierverker Jewish Learning Community offers religious school on Sunday mornings and Wednesday afternoons.
Our school classes are a fun, hands-on way to learn about Jewish traditions and values. Students learn to read Hebrew, celebrate Jewish holidays, and connect with their heritage.
We feature smaller classes to meet each child’s learning needs. Students –and their families—are encouraged to participate in special events to help their learning come alive.
Events include field trips, holiday celebrations, cooking, music, social action, and “Café Ivrit,” a conversational Hebrew simulation. For teens in grades 8 -12, be sure to check out Beth El’s all-new Teen Mitzvah Club.
Starting in September, the Teen Mitzvah Club will meet twice monthly on Sunday mornings. Group leaders are planning a creative line-up of activities to let Mitzvah Club members have fun, try new things, and connect with other Jewish teens in our area.
This year’s activities include field trips, cooking fun, Jew-Neology & DNA (Jewish genealogy), community volunteering, drama with a professional, a soda mixology lab, navigating antisemitism in school, an Urban Air Adventure meet-up, and much more.
In addition to tuition-free K-7 and Teen programs, Congregation Beth El offers heavily discounted membership dues for new member families.
Congregation Beth El of Bucks County is an Egalitarian Conservative Synagogue. We are located at 375 Stony Hill Rd. in Yardley.
