Jewish fun and learning for kids and teens!
September 8 is the first Sunday of religious school at Congregation Beth El’s Fierverker Jewish Learning Community (FJLC). Teachers are planning a special day of fun and learning to welcome students and parents.
Students in grades K – 7 will start off at 9 a.m. with lots of fun activities designed to get kids acquainted with classmates and teachers.
Teens in grades 8 -12 will kick off their year at 10:30 a.m., with a Mitzvah Club meet-up. Mitzvah Club coordinators are planning music, snacks, and a few surprises for this special day!
And everyone is invited to stick around for the Congregation’s Opening Day Barbecue. It’s a great chance to grab lunch straight off the grill, meet other school families, then chill out in air-conditioned comfort.
There will be fun activities for children and teens, such as ping-pong, corn hole and more. Plenty of fun for all ages. Barbecue is free for all.
