The hyper-local non-profit, now in its seventh year, supports Bucks County breast cancer patients in treatment and recovery

Main St. (formerly Pine2Pink), a local 501(c)(3) focused on caring for the local Bucks County Breast Cancer Community, is happy to announce the launch of their seventh year this October 2024.  Having helped more than 2000 local breast cancer patients in treatment and recovery and raised over $550,000, the non-profit relies on strong community support to fund programs such as treatment transportation, cold capping, home-meal-delivery, integrative services, out-of-pocket expenses and the purchase of infusion chairs and other crucial care equipment.

As a community first non-profit the month’s success lies on the shoulders of those across Bucks County donating and participating.  Shopping through Main St.’s popular Eat, Drink and Shop Pink program, is designed to entice people to shop local and raises funds for Main St. in the process.  This October, the non-profit will be supported by over 100 sponsors and partners.

Main St. can be found at participating towns and shopping destinations including; New Hope, Carversville, Peddler’s Village, Doylestown, Perkasie, Newtown and Shops at Valley Square. This year the non-profit is expanding its footprint, as the retailers of Yardley have taken matters into their own hands and are bringing Main St. to their beautiful town.  Leading the charge are business owners; Colleen Wiechnik of Spire Fitness, Nicole Hiner of Boro Piercing and Julia and Ally Adragna of Giana Rose Couture.

Keith Fenimore, Founder of Main St. shares, “Our family is thrilled to kick-off our 7th year of Main St. this October.  We’ve come a long way from not knowing if we were going to raise $1 in 2018, to being able to donate over $550,000 over the last six years.  We like to grow thoughtfully year-over-year, so expanding to Yardley through their local businesses is exciting for our non-profit.  We ask that everyone get involved to ensure this year is a massive success.  Please rely on our website as a hub to learn about all we have in store for this October #LocalForLocal!”
